Application
Working principle of magnetic starter
The magnetic starter is composed of steel stamped shell, steel base plate, AC contactor, thermal relay and corresponding wiring. When it is used, it should be equipped with start stop button switch and correctly connected with manual signal cable. When the start button is pressed, the coil of the AC contactor installed in the magnetic starter is powered on, the armature drives the contact group to close, the electrical appliances (generally the motor) are powered on, and the auxiliary contacts are self-locking. When the stop button is pressed, the coil of the internal AC contactor loses power, the contact is disconnected, and the power supply of the electrical appliance is cut off and unlocked.
According to different control needs, the magnetic starter can also be flexibly wired to achieve inching and equality changing functions. The built-in thermal relay provides overload protection for the controlled motor, and the setting current of the thermal relay shall meet the motor power demand..
